My work as a professional pattern maker for fashion brands and sewing pattern labels

As a fashion designer and pattern maker, I develop sewing patterns for you, tailored to your designs and concept. Close collaboration with my clients is important to me — so I can understand exactly what the finished garment should look and feel like, from fit and silhouette to the overall look you are after.

For precise pattern development and grading, I work with the latest CAD pattern development software (Grafis V.25) — from the first draft pattern through to the finished production pattern for industrial manufacturing.

My Pattern Making Service

  • Development of first patterns in the areas of womenswear (DOB) and childrenswear (KIKO), based on your ideas and specifications through to the finished production pattern — we discuss your ideas using sketches, photos and mood boards, if desired
  • Toile making and sewing of prototypes
  • Fit development and fit adjustment for optimal fit and wearing comfort
  • Grading according to your desired grading sequence for all sizes
  • Creation of individual measurement charts (body measurements and finished measurements)
  • Creation of finished production patterns for industrial manufacturing
  • Layout and print preparation of your sewing pattern sheets as PDF in Adobe Illustrator, with separate size layers, for A4, US Letter and A0/large format as well as projector file
  • Support with design development and design
