Already last year in March 2022, I had a very wonderful sewing weekend in my old home Rüschlikon at the beautiful Zürisee, with my friend Janine from the amazing curated fabric store Lilly Paris.
One of my projects was a pattern hack of the Toni Trousers for warmer days.

The result is a culotte with a tie at the waistband, which I sewed from a wonderful linen in soft rosé from Maries Kits Fabrics.
In the instructions for my pattern for Toni Trousers, this pattern hack is even mentioned as a “tip”.
As a basic version, I used the Toni Trousers with wide leg and the tie at the waist. I extended the trouser leg width a little.
